On the heels of the last Sopranos post, it only seems right to blatantly jack this from the pages of TSS. The Wire is my shit. Hands down all time favorite show. I'm also kinda into Hip-Hop music too. So the fact they put the two together is the shit to me. They were dead on with a lot of these comparisons too. I don't know how happy I'd be if I was Killer Mike though.
Seen this at 2DopeBoyz. It's Mr. Rap Up doing a series rap up for The Wire. Skillz breaks down all 5 seasons here. I like this alot better than the "2008 Rap Up". The Wire (imo) was the best HBO series ever. Better than both Sopranos and Entourage. The only HBO programming I'd rather watch is Boxing and I'm not sure that counts.
This is a record that Wale recorded for The Wire soundtrack in 2006 that never found a place in the show. So it's never heard before Wale from The Wire. Jacked from NahRight who jacked it from somewhere else. I think it's time they do The Wire movie, or another 5 seasons. I miss this show about as much as I miss Chappelle's Show.
